About the Author: Catherine Golden
Catherine J. Golden is a Professor of English at Skidmore College where she teaches courses on Victorian literature and children's literature. She has a passion for Victorian culture and cats. Victorian Cat Tales joins her twin interests.
Catherine graduated with an AB in English from Brown University and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Michigan. She is the award-winning author of Posting It: The Victorian Revolution in Letter Writing. She is also the author of Images of the Woman Reader in Victorian British and American Fiction and editor of five collections. Her essays and reviews have appeared in Victorian Studies, Victorian Poetry, American Literature Realism, ANQ, Beatrix Potter Studies, and other journals, collections, and anthologies. She lives in Saratoga Springs in a Victorian home with her husband, twin sons, and two cats.

About the Illustrator: Pam Golden
Pam Golden is a sculptor and art educator. She works with clay and mixed media to create sculptures and sculptural installations.
Pam Golden, the illustrator of Victorian Cat Tales, has a BA in Art from Colgate University and an MAT from the Rhode Island School of Design. Pam has been an art educator for over 35 years. She loves to work with clay and mixed media to create sculptures and sculptural illustrations. Her sculptures are included in two books about art and healing: Art.Rage.Us - The Art and Writings of Women with Breast Cancer and Art and Healing - Using Expressive Therapies to Heal Your Mind, Body and Spirit by B.Ganim. Pam's interactive installation sculptures have been part of First Night Boston and the Artsplosure Festival in Raleigh, NC. Her site-specific Birch Women sculptures are permanently installed on the grounds of Wiawaka Holiday House [www.wiawaka.org], a historic women's retreat center in Lake George, NY.
